A cooperative program between the Nebraska state colleges, University of Nebraska at Kearney, and University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) to recruit and educate students from rural Nebraska in a variety of healthcare careers who will return to practice in rural areas of Nebraska.


Through the National Health Service Corps, licensed clinicians in eligible disciplines can receive loan repayment assistance in exchange for at least two years of service at an NHSC-approved site in a designated Health Professional Shortage Area.
